Job Summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two enthusiastic individuals to join the Medical Staffing Team in a busy department. As a Medical Staffing Advisor, you will provide a pro-active medical HR service for Postgraduate Doctors in Training, maintaining the management of the rotational processes and advising on all aspects of the Doctors and Dentists in Training Terms & Conditions of Service and Trust policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-quality specialist advice service for all Medical trainees, clinical leads/educators in the Trust and work closely with NHS England Wessex on the provision of training rotations for HHFT.
  • Maintain standards in line with Trust and NHS England Wessex policies under the guidance of NHS Employers Code of Practice.
  • Provide a reliable and well-informed service to trainees and managers and provide advice on, and interpretation of, all Medical & Dental Terms and Conditions, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

We require applicants who currently work within an NHS Trust within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (HIOW ICS). You will be responsible for the timely and accurate data entry onto the electronic staff record system, liaising with payroll to ensure doctors are paid on time and that an efficient service is provided.

We are looking for individuals who are proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work in a busy department. You will be responsible for maintaining the management of rotational processes and advising on all aspects of the Doctors and Dentists in Training Terms & Conditions of Service and Trust policies.
