Position Summary
The Senior Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for client retention and growth through contract expansion and new product introductions. You'll consult with C-level executives of global enterprises to develop and implement an effective strategy that maximizes Gartner's value.
Key Responsibilities
- Account management for increased customer satisfaction and retention
- Quota responsibility of $800,000+ in contract value within a major client territory
- Mastery and execution of Gartner's sales methodology
- Account planning and territory management
- Forecast accuracy management
- Competitive knowledge and focus
- In-depth knowledge of Gartner's products and services
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology
- Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
- Proven experience building client relationships at C-level in large enterprises
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the sales process lifecycle
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (desired)
