Position Summary:

The Senior Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for client retention and growth through contract expansion and the introduction of new products and services. You will collaborate with C-level executives of global enterprises to develop and implement effective strategies that maximize the value delivered by Gartner's offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account management with a focus on increased customer satisfaction and retention
  • Quota responsibility of $800,000+ of contract value within a territory of major client accounts
  • Mastery and consistent execution of Gartner's sales methodology
  • Account planning and territory management
  • Forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Competitive knowledge and market awareness

Requirements:

  • 8 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high-tech services or software
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, and executive presence
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
  • Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the full sales process lifecycle
