Job Description

We are seeking a strategic thinker to join our Board of Governors at Repton School. As a Governor with experience in health and safety, you will provide oversight and support to the Head and Senior Leadership Team on health and safety matters.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the school maintains a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. This includes overseeing regulatory compliance, training, and risk mitigation strategies. You will work closely with the COO, Estates Bursar, and team to ensure transparent and timely reporting to the Governing Body and relevant committees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on health and safety matters to the Board and senior leadership
  • Overseeing regulatory compliance and risk mitigation strategies
  • Working closely with the COO, Estates Bursar, and team to ensure transparent reporting
  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures related to health and safety

A salary of approximately £70,000 per annum is offered for this role, depending on experience. Travel expenses will be reimbursed, and the position offers opportunities for professional development and growth.
