Role Overview

The Ad Warrior Education Trust is seeking a reliable, nurturing and caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils across their learning, including during lunchtimes.

As a dynamic and friendly environment with a positive approach to teaching, the trust values small classes that inspire each child, giving them close attention and ensuring they leave fully equipped for their next phase of learning.

The successful candidate will work as part of the school team to promote an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.

About the Role

This rewarding position involves supporting pupils in a classroom or similar environment, requiring previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification.

In addition to supporting learning, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining hall, classrooms or anywhere on the school site.

Requirements

  • A GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Mathematics.
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment.
  • A commitment to the schools high standards of teaching, learning and professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality, and a good sense of humour.
  • An understanding of the importance of an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.
  • A welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism.

Working Arrangements
