**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Ward Manager at Priory Healthcare. As a leader in the healthcare sector, we provide high-quality care to patients with mental health illnesses, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing leadership and management to the nursing team, ensuring optimal patient care across various wards. With a strong drive to learn and develop, you will contribute to patient assessments, collaborate with individuals to formulate care plans, and monitor patient progress.
As a mentor and educator, you will support student nurses and other team members in their professional development, promoting continuous learning and improvement within the team. Your proven ability to coordinate care, prioritize tasks, and manage Health & Safety issues will be essential in this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide clear leadership to the nursing team and manage shifts for optimal patient care.
- Contribute to patient assessments and formulate care plans in collaboration with individuals.
- Mentor and support student nurses and other team members in their professional development.
- Promote continuous professional development within the team.
- Coordinate care, prioritize tasks, and manage Health & Safety issues.
