Bellway Homes is seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to join their Durham Division. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the sales department and driving sales performance to achieve targets and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve divisional sales targets and forecasts.
- Lead and manage the sales team to ensure maximum profit is achieved through effective sales performance.
- Collaborate with the division's senior management team to deliver the 3-year forecast.
- Responsible for sales department financial matters, including pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Effectively lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to improve overall sales performance.
- Carry out market research for land acquisitions and sales strategies.
- Undertake regular site visits and liaise with Senior/Sales Managers to ensure sales offices and developments are set up and maintained to a high standard.
- Develop sales strategies for developments/plots and review the placement of sales team members within the division.
- Manage budgets for advertising/PR, show homes/sales office set-up, staffing, and other expenditure.
Requirements:
- Experience of leading a successful sales team within the new homes property sector.
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment and developing a positive customer journey.
- Experience and knowledge of effective sales marketing techniques.
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C (or equivalent) or above.
- Current full UK driving licence.
- Access to a vehicle for business use as required.
