Job Title: Head of Sales

Bellway Homes is seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to join their Durham Division. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the sales department and driving sales performance to achieve targets and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve divisional sales targets and forecasts.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to ensure maximum profit is achieved through effective sales performance.
  • Collaborate with the division's senior management team to deliver the 3-year forecast.
  • Responsible for sales department financial matters, including pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Effectively lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to improve overall sales performance.
  • Carry out market research for land acquisitions and sales strategies.
  • Undertake regular site visits and liaise with Senior/Sales Managers to ensure sales offices and developments are set up and maintained to a high standard.
  • Develop sales strategies for developments/plots and review the placement of sales team members within the division.
  • Manage budgets for advertising/PR, show homes/sales office set-up, staffing, and other expenditure.

Requirements:

  • Experience of leading a successful sales team within the new homes property sector.
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment and developing a positive customer journey.
  • Experience and knowledge of effective sales marketing techniques.
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C (or equivalent) or above.
  • Current full UK driving licence.
  • Access to a vehicle for business use as required.
