About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lettings Progressor to join our team at DiSRUPT Recruitment Agency | B Corp. As a key member of our lettings team, you will be responsible for progressing tenancies across all sites, managing records, and maintaining high levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer new tenancies and renewals, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with tenants and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the tenancy referencing process, ensuring all outstanding references are chased in a timely manner and completed references are received prior to move-in.
  • Deal with incoming enquiries, acting as the point of contact for customers during the referencing and pre-tenancy process.
  • Draft and issue tenancy documentation, taking up front payments, and setting up Direct Debits for ongoing rental payments.
  • Maintain and update the database, ensuring the system is kept up to date with the status of each file and each deal is checked against the internal process prior to key release.
  • Minimise costs and maximise income by effective management of the application process.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant processes, including issuing compliance documents to each household ahead of their move-in date.
Requirements
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, gained within a similar public-facing, commercial environment.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of the London Lettings Market, including compliance and legal requirements within the sector and Assured Shorthold Tenancy Legislation.
  • Excellent diary/time management skills, with the ability to work to specified processes under pressure, prioritise workload, and deliver on targets while maintaining service levels in a fast-paced lettings environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, both internally and externally, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and a collaborative team player who can inspire and motivate colleagues, effectively achieving goals collaboratively.
  • Proficient in presenting and interpreting information accurately and professionally.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying issues and crafting effective resolutions.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office Suite and lettings management systems.
  • A strict adherence to confidentiality regarding all forms of information and data.
  • ARLA/Propertymark qualification desirable.
