Tenancy Progressor/ Lettings Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tenancy Progressor to join our team at Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd. As a Tenancy Progressor, you will play a crucial role in the successful leasing of residential units in our private rented sector (PRS) platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer new tenancies to relevant deadlines and ensure timely completion of all necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and internal stakeholders to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the tenancy referencing process, ensuring all outstanding references are regularly chased in a timely manner.
  • Process incoming enquiries and respond to tenant queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Draft and issue tenancy documentation, including tenancy agreements and welcome packs.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of all live applications and tenancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant processes and procedures, including the issuance of compliance documents to each household ahead of their move-in date.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of the private rented sector, with a focus on single-family housing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • ARLA qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and lettings management systems.
