About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lettings Progressor to join our team at DiSRUPT Recruitment Agency | B Corp. As a key member of our lettings team, you will be responsible for progressing tenancies across all sites, managing and maintaining up-to-date records, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer new tenancies to relevant deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage tenancy renewals, communicating renewal terms to tenants and ensuring compliance with relevant processes.
  • Maintain regular communication with tenants and internal stakeholders regarding the progression of tenancy applications and renewals.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained through effective management of the move-in process.
  • Manage the tenancy referencing process, ensuring all outstanding references are regularly chased and completed in a timely manner.
  • Deal with incoming enquiries, acting as the point of contact for customers during the referencing and pre-tenancy process.
  • Draft and issue tenancy documentation, taking up front payments, and setting up Direct Debits for ongoing rental payments.
  • Maintain and update database records, ensuring the system is kept up-to-date with the status of each file and each deal is checked against internal processes prior to key release.
  • Ensure costs are minimized and income maximized by effective management of the application process.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant processes, including the issuance of compliance documents to each household ahead of their move-in date.
Requirements
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, gained within a similar public-facing, commercial environment.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of the London Lettings Market, including compliance and legal requirements within the sector and Assured Shorthold Tenancy Legislation.
  • Excellent diary/time management skills, with the ability to work to specified processes under pressure, prioritize workload, and deliver on targets while maintaining service levels in a fast-paced lettings environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, both internally and externally, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and a collaborative team player who can inspire and motivate colleagues, effectively achieving goals collaboratively.
  • Proficient in presenting and interpreting information accurately and professionally.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying issues and crafting effective resolutions.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office Suite and lettings management systems.
  • A strict adherence to confidentiality regarding all forms of information and data.
  • ARLA/Propertymark qualification desirable.
