Role Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will provide a warm and friendly service to visiting members, guests, and visitors. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the first point of contact for arrivals to the College, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome members, guests, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Notify College personnel of visitor arrival and direct visitors to the relevant departments.
- Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring the logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
- Answer and screen incoming phone calls, providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Keep the reception area safe and clean by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Support continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Deal with enquiries relating to the booking of meeting rooms and setting up of the rooms.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Provide great customer service and complete administrative duties.
- Sort and distribute incoming post and organise and send outgoing post.
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Support the cleaning and security team.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
About You:
- Good experience as a Concierge Front of House.
- Excellent IT skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong administrative skills and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well under pressure.
- A good command of written and spoken English.
