We are seeking an ambitious Strategic Business Expansion Specialist to join our European proprietary trading business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in growing our core EMEA trading operations, identifying lucrative new business opportunities, and forging strategic partnerships that foster growth and collaboration.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive the expansion of Jump's core EMEA trading business through innovative strategies and partnership development.
  • Conduct thorough market research to present compelling business opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide informed input into the design and implementation of multifaceted business strategies.
  • Collaborate with Quantitative Research Teams to leverage Jump Trading's world-class strategy generation capabilities across multiple products and asset classes.
  • Establish yourself as a key contact for research, business, operations, technology, and leadership teams within your designated areas.
  • Build and manage internal and external relationships to deliver complex projects and support the pursuit of significant revenue growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the trading sector.
  • Foster and maintain essential relationships with exchanges, regulators, industry organizations, prime brokers, and infrastructure providers.
  • Represent Jump Trading at external events, conferences, and meetings as required to build business.
  • Explore and manage relevant ventures and strategic partnerships that align with the company's goals.
  • Analyse the competitive landscape and industry developments to inform business strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A commercially astute, entrepreneurial, and proven business developer with a strong understanding of financial markets and products.
  • At least seven years of experience in Futures, Equities, Emerging Markets, or Commodities in sales, trading, operational, support, or another related role.
  • A deep understanding of trading strategies, regulatory environments, and relevant exchanges, venues, and trading protocols in EMEA.
  • Experience working within a top-tier Investment bank, quantitative trading firm, broker, exchange, or vendor.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously to successful completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey both technical and business content effectively.
  • A degree in a relevant subject with high academic achievements.
  • Reliable and predictable availability.
