Job Title: Mental Health Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Mental Health Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing specialist support to children and adolescents with mental health issues.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health services, with experience in working with children and young people. They will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead a multi-disciplinary team, providing specialist support to children and adolescents with mental health issues
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, working closely with families and carers
  • To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, identifying areas for improvement
  • To support the operational manager with day-to-day running of the service, including recruitment, sickness, and health roster management

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a graduate training program (e.g., nursing, social work, occupational therapy) with registration from a professional body (e.g., HCPC, NMC)
  • Experience of working with children and young people with mental health or learning disabilities, providing specialist interventions
  • Knowledge of legislation related to children and adolescents, safeguarding procedures, and policies

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
