Clinical Lead Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Band 7 Community Mental Health Nurse to join our Initiating Treatment Team in Chelmsford, Essex. This exciting opportunity allows you to work closely with the Primary Care Network Mental Health Team, facilitating reviews of patient needs and initiating mental health treatment for various conditions.
This role offers a chance to promote health and wellbeing through health promotion and education, as well as provide education, monitoring, and initiation of mental health medication management in primary care.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and shape the way forward in delivering Community Primary Care Mental Health Services.
About the Role- Registered Mental Health (RMN) qualification
- Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification or willingness to undertake training
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
- Experience working within a Mental Health setting

Key Activities- Complete mandatory training in line with Trust policy and procedures
- Participate in the staff appraisal process and undertake appraisals for any staff managed
- Keep updated on all matters relating to Trust policy
- Full UK driving licence essential
English language proficiency required
Salary and Benefits£40,876 - £62,586 per annum (inclusive of high-cost area supplement where applicable)
