Child Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Clinical Psychologist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Child Clinical Psychologist to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to children and young people in North East London.
Key Responsibilities- To provide specialist psychological assessments, interventions, and support to children, adolescents, and their families.
- To work collaboratively with schools, social services, and other agencies to ensure comprehensive care plans are developed and implemented.
- To lead on the development and implementation of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group work.
- To contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff members.
- To participate in audit, quality improvement, research, and service evaluation initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A doctoral qualification in clinical psychology or a related field.
- HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist.
- Experience of working with children and young people with mental health needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
