Experienced Mental Health Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, providing expert advice and interventions within our Street Triage Service.
This role offers flexibility with shift patterns covering the Essex County Wide Service, including 3 long days in custody suites, working closely with all agencies involved in the criminal justice system.
You will work autonomously providing written reports and assessments/screening, joining an expert team committed to providing outstanding care within these settings.
- A competitive salary of £40,730 - £49,619 per annum, pro rata

As a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert advice and interventions within the Street Triage Service
- Working closely with all agencies involved in the criminal justice system
- Preparing written reports and assessments/screening
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- RNM or RNLD Qualification with 12 months post qualification experience
- Evidence of post qualification training
- Good understanding of the Community Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act
