Job Details

This part-time role offers flexible hours up to 20 per week, Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm, with occasional out-of-hours support. You will be based in Llandrindod Wells, Welshpool, and Powys, covering various locations in Mid Wales.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with sensory impairments, physical disabilities, and/or learning disabilities in daily living tasks, social activities, and community participation
• Develop and maintain personalized care plans to meet individual needs and preferences
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and services
• Travel around Powys and Mid Wales using your own vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
• Contribute to service planning, monitoring, and evaluation to improve outcomes for individuals supported

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle
  • BSL skills or willingness to learn
  • Experience working with individuals with sensory impairments and/or complex disabilities
  • Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments/learning difficulties (desired)
