Job Summary

Livewell Southwest is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead the development of our CAMHS inpatient care services. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership to the CAMHS Tier 4 in-patient unit, Children's Young People's Place of Safety, and the Acute Care Pathway.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and support to ward/unit/Team managers and nurses, acting as a role model in provision of clear direction for nursing and practice development.
  • Ensure the implementation of clinical supervision for staff within areas of responsibility.
  • Provide line management to delegated personnel within the service structure.
  • Develop opportunities to enhance service user involvement and carers.
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration in a field that would give significant exposure to children and young people who require mental health support.
  • Evidence of recent continuing personal learning / professional development.
  • Significant (at least 2 years) experience at Team leader (B7) role in acute setting or similar setting.
