Job Summary
Livewell Southwest is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Lead to join our team as a Modern Matron for Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional leadership to the CAMHS Tier 4 in-patient unit, Children's Young People's Place of Safety, and the Acute Care Pathway.
Main Responsibilities
The Modern Matron will provide line management and support to the unit/ward/team managers as appropriate, with the support of the Directorate Manager. They will also demonstrate a sound knowledge and provide a clear vision to the strategic direction of identified clinical services, ensuring excellence in service delivery and clinical governance.
Key Requirements
- Current NMC registration in a field that would give significant exposure to children and young people who require mental health support.
- Educated at Degree/Masters level or equivalent senior level experience.
- Experience of implementing change within a team and leading a team in an acute setting.
- Significant experience at Team leader (B7) role in acute setting or similar setting.
