Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at OX Seven Talent Partners R2R. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the roofing supplies sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including large distributors and small roofing contractors
- Provide technical solutions to customers and ensure they have the necessary knowledge to make informed purchasing decisions
- Work closely with Branch Managers to support their efforts to double turnover within the next 3-5 years
- Travel extensively across the region to meet with customers and branches, providing support and guidance as needed
- Proven sales experience in the merchant sector, with a strong understanding of roofing products and their applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Confidence in using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and other sales tools
- Ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth
- Strong product knowledge and technical skills, with the ability to provide expert advice to customers
- A competitive salary of £40-45,000, plus a car allowance
