We are looking for a skilled Therapeutic Care Specialist to join our team at Leader Recruitment Group in Wisbech.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Foster a safe and nurturing environment, collaborating with the team to advocate for the positive development of young individuals.
  2. Support the Service Manager in ensuring efficient day-to-day management and high-quality care.
  3. Lead a team in providing therapeutic care, addressing the unique needs of each child.
  4. Maintain comprehensive records, including event logs, progress reports, and care plans.
  5. Serve as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, addressing their daily needs and fostering trust and growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 12 months experience in a child-centred, therapeutic environment.
  • Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility: Ability to cover long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Further Qualifications: Additional qualifications in child care or therapeutic support.
