About the Role

As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you will collaborate with the team to advocate for the positive development of young individuals, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. You will support the Service Manager in ensuring efficient day-to-day management and high-quality care. You will lead a team in providing therapeutic care, addressing the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including event logs, progress reports, and care plans.
  • Serve as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, addressing their daily needs and fostering trust and growth.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience in a child-centred, therapeutic environment.
  • Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license. Please do not apply if you do not have a UK driving license.
  • Flexibility: Ability to cover long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Location and Working Hours

The role is based in Wisbech and requires working long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
