As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you will collaborate with the team to advocate for the positive development of young individuals, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. You will support the Service Manager in ensuring efficient day-to-day management and high-quality care, while leading a team in providing therapeutic care addressing the unique needs of each child.
Essential Requirements- Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience in a child-centred, therapeutic environment, where you have developed strong relationships with children and colleagues alike.
- Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent), demonstrating your commitment to delivering exceptional care.
- Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license, enabling you to participate in activities outside of work hours.
- Flexibility: Ability to cover long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to go above and beyond.
- Further Qualifications: Additional qualifications in child care or therapeutic support, highlighting your dedication to professional growth.
