About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Emotional Health Service as a Mental Health Practitioner, working within the Mental Health Support Team (MHST).

The MHST works closely with schools and cluster leads to implement a whole school approach to mental health.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver specific therapeutic interventions to children and young people or their families.
  • Conduct mental health assessments and provide 1:1 therapeutic interventions.
  • Work within educational settings to increase mental health awareness.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the HEE commissioned course.
  • Experience of working with children and young people who have social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties.
  • Ability to make an assessment of risk and take appropriate action.
About the Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is around £38,000 - £43,000 per year, depending on experience.
