About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Emotional Health Service as a Mental Health Practitioner, working within the Mental Health Support Team (MHST).
The MHST works closely with schools and cluster leads to implement a whole school approach to mental health.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver specific therapeutic interventions to children and young people or their families.
- Conduct mental health assessments and provide 1:1 therapeutic interventions.
- Work within educational settings to increase mental health awareness.
- Successful completion of the HEE commissioned course.
- Experience of working with children and young people who have social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties.
- Ability to make an assessment of risk and take appropriate action.
The salary for this position is around £38,000 - £43,000 per year, depending on experience.
