Job Title: SEMH Learning Support Assistant

About the Role:
As a dedicated individual, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be working in a school setting, supporting pupils in specialist classrooms for SEMH and ARP (Autism Resource Provision).

Your Key Responsibilities:
Gain experience in a dynamic school environment, working closely with qualified SEN professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists.
Support children with ASC, autism, anxiety, and ADHD, promoting their learning and development, improving communication and social skills.

What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £25,000 per year, pro-rata to term time only, reflecting the importance of your role in supporting children's wellbeing.

Requirements:
A First-Class Psychology Degree or a degree from a Top 20 University, demonstrating academic excellence and a strong foundation in psychology.
Previous experience working with children, showcasing your passion and commitment to their wellbeing and education.
Excellent communication skills, patience, and resilience, essential for building strong relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.

Becoming an Educational Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist:
