Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team as an Estate Administration Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a busy Private Client caseload, attending client meetings, and conducting thorough investigations into estate assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend client meetings and take detailed instructions.
  • Register wills and conduct thorough investigations into estate assets.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and third parties to gather all financial information and documentation required to progress each Executry.
  • Prepare a comprehensive register of assets and debts, as well as inheritance tax forms.
  • Prepare inventory for confirmation and apply to the court for confirmation.
  • Assist with legal rights computations, prepare fee notes, and manage all associated administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executry or Private Client Paralegal.
  • Strong understanding of the processes involved in estate administration.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of inheritance tax forms and legal rights computations.
