We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team as an Estate Administration Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a busy Private Client caseload, attending client meetings, and conducting thorough investigations into estate assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend client meetings and take detailed instructions.
- Register wills and conduct thorough investigations into estate assets.
- Communicate effectively with clients and third parties to gather all financial information and documentation required to progress each Executry.
- Prepare a comprehensive register of assets and debts, as well as inheritance tax forms.
- Prepare inventory for confirmation and apply to the court for confirmation.
- Assist with legal rights computations, prepare fee notes, and manage all associated administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executry or Private Client Paralegal.
- Strong understanding of the processes involved in estate administration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of inheritance tax forms and legal rights computations.
