About the Role

Pertemps is seeking an IT Systems Specialist to support the management and development of our client's "Best Value" system.

This temporary role is crucial in supporting the implementation, testing, and training of new software. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in systems analysis, relational database design, and programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the "Best Value" system.
  • Plan, implement, and test new software; provide necessary training.
  • Identify system gaps and specify solutions.
  • Carry out database administration.
  • Develop in-house programs, including Visual Basic applications.
  • Provide advanced Microsoft Office support.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience in systems administration and technical support.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in systems analysis and relational database design.
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic or similar programming languages.
  • Systems analysis and programming skills.
  • Familiarity with query tools and database administration.
