Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with managers to ensure the correct operation of the probationary period policy.
- Monitor individual sickness absence, conduct sickness absence reviews, and escalate as appropriate in accordance with the Academy's Sickness Absence Policy.
- Provide assistance and support to staff around employment policies, including maternity, paternity, and other related matters.
- Assist with the development of HR policies to ensure they are up-to-date and fit for purpose.
- Complete payroll administration as required.
- Manage the recruitment process, including facilitating interview days, collating interview packs, and ensuring DBS clearance.
- Provide reports as needed by the Principal on absence, contracts, recruitment, and other HR-related matters.
- Ensure consistent implementation of all HR policies and processes and monitor their suitability.
- Take responsibility for all HR-related administration.
- Be part of the wider Academy Administration Team.
Requirements:
- Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
