Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at H9 Human Resources. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to support the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct supervision of accounting assistants and credit control function
  • Assist the Finance Director with reporting of monthly management information to the Senior Leadership Team
  • Full reconciliation of balance sheets on a monthly basis, including bank reconciliations
  • Identify training requirements for the team and provide training duties for new accounts staff
  • Manage, create, and report month-end packs, including profit and loss statements, key performance indicators, and labor data
  • Assist the Finance Director in the annual budget process, ensuring data is certified
  • Manage and coordinate monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecasting processes
  • Daily monitoring and reporting of an 8-week rolling cash flow
  • Analysis of management data as needed
  • Accountability for all HMRC reporting
  • Oversee the HR function for the department and support the HR function for the group
  • Hold quarterly inter-department audits to ensure the integrity of financial data
  • Monthly supervision of WIP and stock audits
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of a MRP system would be advantageous
  • 5 years of lead finance and nominal management experience essential
  • Strong Sage experience essential
  • Experience of full balance sheet reconciliations essential
  • Financial compliance experience
  • Strengths in closely controlling a month-end timetable
  • Must have experience of team management and strong delegation skills
  • Ideally fully CIMA/ACCA qualified as a minimum or QBE
