Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR department, including tasks such as producing job descriptions, person specifications, and adverts. Additionally, the HR Assistant will support managers with interview techniques and the interview process, assist in the induction process for new staff, and develop and advise on the appraisal process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with managers to produce job descriptions, person specifications, and adverts
- Support managers with interview techniques and the interview process
- Assist in the induction process for all new staff
- Liaise with managers in the correct operation of the probationary period policy
- Develop and advise on the appraisal process
- Advise and assist managers with disciplinary and grievance issues
- Monitor individual sickness absence and conduct sickness absence reviews
- Provide assistance and support to staff around employment policies
- Assist with the development of certain policies to ensure they are up to date and fit for purpose
- Complete payroll administration as required
- Manage the recruitment process, including facilitating interview days and collating interview packs
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other HR software
- Experience in HR administration or a related field
