Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR department, including tasks such as recruitment, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with managers to produce job descriptions, person specifications, and adverts
  • Support managers with interview techniques and the interview process
  • Assist in the induction process for all new staff
  • Liaise with managers in the correct operation of the probationary period policy
  • Develop and advise on the appraisal process
  • Advise and assist managers with disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Monitor individual sickness absence and conduct sickness absence reviews
  • Provide assistance and support to staff around employment policies
  • Assist with the development of certain policies
  • Complete payroll administration as required
  • Manage the recruitment process
  • Facilitate the absence management process
  • Maintain staff records and ensure confidentiality
  • Provide reports as required by the Principal
  • Ensure all information on SIMs is accurate and up to date
  • Ensure consistent implementation of all HR policies and processes
