We are a specialist in the plant equipment sector and have grown significantly, requiring a Strategic Account Development Manager to cover the North West.

The Role

  • Build and manage key customer relationships, driving new business acquisition and ensuring customer satisfaction for sustainable growth.
  • Develop and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key customers, meeting their needs through tailored solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, increase the customer base, and develop a commercial pipeline.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to produce sales budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for customers.
  • Develop an annual growth plan aligned with new forecasts and produce reports on target opportunities, market information, and competitor analysis.
  • Support customers with order management, address queries, and provide solutions.
  • Manage a value sales process increasing margin opportunities and aligning with sales growth plans.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and customer services departments for new product development, efficiency improvements, and enhanced customer experience.

The Person

  • A minimum of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
  • Experience working in a sales role with a proven track record of building strong customer relationships and delivering business growth.
