As a Paediatric Diabetes Care Specialist, you will be part of our Integrated Community Children's Nursing Service, working closely with our team to deliver excellent care to children with specific specialist disorders.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,600 - £45,600 per annum (dependent on experience). In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including:

Key Responsibilities

As a Paediatric Diabetes Care Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of nursing skills and knowledge in the care, management, and education of children with specific specialist disorders.
  • Leading safety, effectively, and efficiently in the delivery of services.
  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Registered Sick Children's Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
  • Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level.
  • Postgraduate expertise within the speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice.
  • Leadership skills to enable the day-to-day management of service delivery.
