**The Role**:
**As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out routine personal care/assist with routine examination duties for patients, in support of (and supervised by), a registered nurse/clinician. The post holder will ensure a person-centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.**:

**What we'll need you to bring**:
- Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment.
- Required to undertake on-the-job training and induction
- Undertake mandatory HCSW standards
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Working knowledge of basic information technology.
**Contract type**:
- Permanent
- Full-time and part-time
- Various hours
- Please note for part-time posts the salary will be pro-rata.
**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based on the Trauma & Orthopaedics Dept within University Hospital Wishaw.
The working pattern for this role is 11.5 hours long days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
