**About The Role**:
We are looking for Support Workers to will work within our **BEAUTIFUL** Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre based in Wishaw. Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre provides specialist rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from an acquired brain injury and also provides residential care for individuals with progressive neurological conditions. The centre has 46 bedrooms split across 2 units that all care and support individuals with a brain injury or other neurological condition. Our facilities include, Hydrotherapy pool, Independent living flats, Rehabilitation gymnasium, Extensive gardens, Minibus for outings and appointments.

**In your new role, you will**:
- Build relationships with patients, which are open and two way
- Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme
- Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary
- Accurately report and/or record work activities
- Support with activities of daily living & personal care
- Assist patients with mealtimes where necessary.
**About You**:
**You will ideally have**:
- A genuine interest in working within a caring environment
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience working within the care and support sector (Ideal but not essential)
- Some experience working within a Mental Health setting is desirable
- The ability to build a great rapport and the desire to truly make a difference
- A person-centred approach in all aspects of care
