**The Role**:
**As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out routine personal care/assist with routine examination duties for patients, in support of (and supervised by), a registered nurse/clinician. The post holder will ensure a person-centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.**:

**What we'll need you to bring**:
- Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment.
- Required to undertake on-the-job training and induction
- Undertake mandatory HCSW standards
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Working knowledge of basic information technology.
**It would be great if you also have**:
- Previous experience working within a surgical/admission environment
- Computer skills
**Contract type**:
Permanent / Part Time / 20 hours
Please note this is a part-time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based in University Hospital Wishaw within the Emergency Care unit.
The working pattern for this role is a 12-hour shift pattern, rotational shifts.
