The Regional Manager is a key role within Nationwide, responsible for leading a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) in generating residential and Buy To Let mortgage business through building and developing relationships with mortgage intermediaries in a given area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a business plan to optimize mortgage volumes, business quality, and digital integration.
  • Line manage, motivate, supervise, and coach a team of circa 10 BDMs to enhance relationship management, business development skills, and technical knowledge.
  • Meet and present to Key Accounts, promoting Nationwide's Intermediary proposition.
  • Support Nationwide by attending Financial Service and industry exhibitions/trade fairs.
  • Maintain controls within all quality and regulatory guidelines, including database management, activity levels, complaint management, and quality of case submission.
  • Ensure support for the Society's diversity and inclusivity responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of successful business development in a financial services environment.
  • Understanding of the MCoB, ICoB rules, and other regulations impacting the intermediary market place.
  • Strong coaching and supervision skills.
