Preservation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Preservation Specialist to join our team in the Fife region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality preservation services to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in preservation joinery and possess an apprenticeship background or relevant qualifications. A full UK manual driving licence is also required, as you will be working on-site and travelling to various locations.

In this role, you will be tasked with stripping and replacing timber floors, renewing door frames, architraves, and windows sills. You will also be responsible for splicing roof timbers, repairing damp-proof courses, and installing membrane systems. Additionally, you will carry out timber treatments such as insecticide/fungicide sprays and remedial repairs for dry and wet rot.

Our Preservation Specialists work closely with clients to identify and address any preservation issues. You will need excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a proactive and can-do attitude.

We offer a competitive package, including a salary of £25,888 with OTE £30,000 per annum, company van, fuel card, uniform, and tools. We also provide opportunities for career development and promotions based on performance.
