LTF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Year 5 SEN Teaching Associate to join our team. As a Year 5 SEN Teaching Associate, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of two pupils who require additional emotional support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to Year 5 pupils, focusing on emotional regulation and academic achievement.">
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement tailored plans to meet the students' needs.">
  • Employ a calm and confident approach to promote positive behaviours and reinforce emotional regulation techniques.">
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure students stay engaged and focused.">
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.">

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate individual who can provide a supportive and inclusive environment for the students. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs.">
  • A calm and composed demeanour, with the ability to establish clear boundaries.">
  • Strong academic skills, particularly in core subjects.">
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.">

The salary for this position is approximately £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience.
