Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Prospero Teaching invites applications from talented individuals seeking a rewarding career in education. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students in a well-established Secondary School in Westminster.

This dynamic role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can make a positive impact on student outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to students with EAL and SEN, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver targeted support to students in small groups, focusing on specific skill areas
  2. Contribute to creating a safe and stimulating learning environment
  3. Work collaboratively with teachers to develop tailored lesson plans and interventions
  4. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to whole-school initiatives

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2:2 classification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when working with sensitive information
  • Willingness to undergo regular DBS checks

We offer a competitive salary of around £26,000-£31,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role provides a platform for career growth and development, with opportunities for professional training and mentorship.
