We are seeking university graduates to work as Graduate Teaching Assistants in a friendly and popular Secondary School in the area of Westminster. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their mainstream classes and have the opportunity to progress into a salaried teacher training programme.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who wish to gain experience in education and make a positive impact on the lives of students. The role involves supporting students with a range of needs, including EAL and SEN, and running intervention sessions and booster groups to help pupils succeed.

You will also be responsible for conducting tuition groups in your subject-specific area and organizing extra-curricular activities that promote student engagement and enjoyment.

Requirements
  • Degree with a 2:2 minimum
  • C and above in Maths, English and Science
  • No previous education experience is required to apply

To be eligible for this role, you must hold a Right to Work in the UK, an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application, and provide two professional references.
