The RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Company Secretarial Assistant to join our Group Secretariat team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to the Group Company Secretary and Assistant Company Secretary, ensuring the efficient operation of our Company Secretarial Department.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date statutory records and related information in manual systems and on Diligent Entities.
- Support the preparation of Board and Committee Meetings, including the timely submission of Companies House filings.
- Assist with the coordination of ad hoc meetings, including the drafting of resolutions.
- Liaise with the Company's Registrars on matters such as share issues, transfers, and dividends.
- Prepare for and administer General Meetings of shareholders, including event management.
- Support the development and production of the Company's Annual and Interim reporting.
- Assist with the administration of the Group's executive share-based awards and Sharesave Plan.
- Provide support to the Group's Tax and Treasury Departments on various matters.
- A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Completed or working towards completion of the professional examinations of the Chartered Governance Institute is desirable.
- Previous experience in a listed-company environment is advantageous, but not essential.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages.
- Working knowledge of Diligent Boards and Diligent Entities is useful, but not essential.
- Reliable, conscientious, and able to observe strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Computer literate with accuracy and numeracy.
