About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Warner Hotels. As a key member of our kitchen leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Manage and motivate a team of chefs, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional results.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that waste is minimized.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and events, to ensure seamless service and delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of food preparation, presentation, and safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and guests.
  • Ability to work under pressure, think on your feet, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
