About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Warner Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service are maintained across our properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menus, ensuring they meet the expectations of our guests and align with our brand's culinary vision.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring it is of the highest quality and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring they are within budget and aligned with our brand's financial targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front of house and events, to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards in a busy kitchen.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
