Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Warner Leisure Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Oversee the kitchen team, ensuring that all staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and ordering to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure that all kitchens and chefs adhere to company Health and Safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good financial knowledge, with the ability to manage costs and budgets.
