About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Support Officer to join our team at Pertemps. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide essential support to our Managing Director and wider management team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • PA Support: Assist the MD with day-to-day organizational tasks, including correspondence, calendar management, and travel arrangements.
  • HR Administration: Handle staff communications, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Project Support: Work on projects across multiple sites, including staff liaison, creating organizational charts, and coordinating meetings.
  • Minute Taking: Record minutes for Health and Safety meetings, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Recruitment Support: Review CVs, prepare job offers for new recruits, and support the recruitment process.
  • Reporting: Gather and report on facts and findings to support decision-making, using data analysis and reporting tools.
Requirements
  • People Skills: Provide effective support to the MD and wider team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Trustworthiness: Be someone the team can rely on, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate keen organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurately complete tasks, with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Additional Requirements

Initially, you will be based between two sites that are geographically close, so you will need to have a driver's license and your own transport. This role requires a flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
