Sales Business Development Manager

We are a pioneering company based in the UK, specializing in innovative market research and consumer insights for the global food, beverage, and supplement industries. Our cutting-edge SaaS platform empowers leading companies in the FMCG sector to make informed decisions, using expert insights into consumer attitudes and behaviors.
As an Sales Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for initiating contact with senior decision-makers in the FMCG industry, highlighting the value of subscribing to our market-leading consumer insights platform. You will work to set up product demos for the experienced sales team to follow up on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging global prospects to discuss our SaaS platform's benefits and value proposition
- Booking 5-8 demos per week to showcase our platform's capabilities
- Working with a robust lead database to identify new business opportunities
- Developing into a Business Development Manager within 6-12 months, with the potential to progress into a team leader role
- Global travel to attend industry events and source new leads
You will be based in our St Albans office 3 days a week (with 2 days remote once fully trained). During your initial training, you will need to be in the office full-time for the best learning experience.
Requirements:
- A 2:1 or 1st class degree (2023 or 2024 graduate)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ambition and drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
