Gambling Intervention Coordinator

This role involves facilitating referrals, providing advice, guidance, assessment, and structured interventions to individuals experiencing difficulties with gambling. The successful candidate will also engage key stakeholders, publicise the service, and develop a network of Community Champions to address gambling-related harm.

Responsibilities:
  1. Promoting and arranging community activities, including networking events and training sessions
  2. Delivering training packages to educate communities on identifying gambling harms and signposting to support/treatment
  3. Developing and sustaining relationships with community partners and wider networks
  4. Facilitating various interventions, such as Brief Interventions and Mutual Aid Groups

Required skills include experience in providing support and interventions, knowledge and understanding of issues related to gambling, and a strong ability to engage and educate communities and stakeholders.
