We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team, working closely with occupational therapists and physiotherapists to deliver high-quality patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the rehabilitation of patients with complex needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver therapy to a complex caseload on the ward, working independently to manage a designated caseload of patients defined as non-complex within a specified clinical area.

Provide assessment and interventions on behalf of the therapists within predetermined guidelines, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver and fit assistive equipment in patients' homes as directed by the therapist.

Qualifications and Experience

A sound general education, with technical qualifications such as NVQ Level III Health related or equivalent technical/work experience.

Previous experience of working with patients, preferably in a hospital setting, with a broad range of life experiences and an appreciation of the principles of rehabilitation.

An understanding of moving and handling principles, with good communication and interpersonal skills, including effective written and oral communication skills.

Benefits Package

This role offers a competitive salary, estimated at £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including a pension scheme, generous annual leave, and opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
