Physiotherapy Specialist for Complex Foot and Ankle Care

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a regional centre for complex foot and ankle surgery. As an Advanced Physiotherapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides high-quality care to patients with complex foot and ankle conditions.
About the RoleThis fixed-term role focuses on gait assessment using computerized technology, functional assessment, and advice and exercise prescription. You will work closely with colleagues to further the research agenda of the department and have opportunities to extend your role in the future.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-standard physiotherapy care to a highly complex patient group in specialty.
- Support outpatient physiotherapy clinics and day units as applicable to the role.
- Offer advisory services to patients, their families, physiotherapists, consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and provide specialist education and training to staff members within the multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to research within the specialist area and lead service quality improvement.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Degree or equivalent Diploma in Physiotherapy.
- State Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and relevant postgraduate courses.
- Relevant Master's level qualification or willingness to work towards it.

Estimated Salary: £43,041 - £57,167 per annumPlease note that salaries may vary based on individual circumstances and experience.
